A
bride recently attended a headcount of serving corps members with the
National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in her wedding gown.
Last weekend, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) had a
nationwide head-count of all serving corps members. A bride was pictured
with in her wedding gown on the head-counting venue as her wedding date
unfortunately clashed with that of the exercise.
A corp member who spoke with correspondents said the head-count was an impromptu exercise carried out across the country by the NYSC to detect ghost corp members. “They informed us that the counting exercise will take place between Saturday and Sunday. The process was cumbersome, I went there early this morning but after all the queues , I was finally done by evening.”
