Man narrates how his Facebook lover died at her Lagos home

Remember the young lady, Adekemi Faboro, who died at her house during a meeting with her married lover, Christopher Ezekiel, whom she met on Facebook?  Well. the man has finally opened up about what happened on that day and how she died. He claimed the day she died was the second time they'd be ever meet and he had no hand in her death.

"I met her online sometime between September and October 2014 on facebook and we began to chat. Early this year she came to Sagamu to visit me and she spent two days with me. She actually came on Friday and went back to Lagos on Saturday. I have an apartment where I work in Sagamu but my wife and children live in another apartment in Ibadan. I came to see her in Lagos around first week of March where I spent the weekend with her. This was the second time I visited her.
On that fateful evening, we went out, spent quality time together and later retired to her apartment and slept. At about midnight, she began to complain about headache and then she started coughing. She coughed for a long while. It was when the coughing persisted that I had to go and knock on her next neighbours’ door to help me locate a nearby hospital, since I am not familiar with Lagos terrain. So with the help of her neighbours, we went to a nearby private hospital (names withheld). After examining her condition, she was referred to the general hospital. At this time, her condition was getting worse, yet I did all I could to get her to the hospital. With the assistance of her neighbours, we made it to Ifako General Hospital in Ogba. By the time they began to attend to her, she had passed on. I am not in any way responsible for her death.” He told Vanguard

It is reported that Ezekiel's wife was at the State Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, last Wednesday to see her husband. Further investigation into the matter is still ongoing.

20 year old hairdresser stabs lover to death over feeding allowance - SEE PHOTOS

The Lagos state police command have arrested 20 year old hairdresser, Gift Wahab pictured above for stabbing her live-in-lover, 28 year old Ebi Amade to death following a disagreement over feeding allowance at their home at Fasasi Street, Ajegunle, Apapa, on Thursday, March 19.

According to a report by Punch, Gift, a native of Uromi in Edo state had been living with her Bayelsa born lover since 2013 after she dropped out of school following the death of her father. On the day of the incident, the couple, who had a child that later died in December 2014 after a brief illness, fought as they returned home from an event. "On Thursday, we went out for an event. As we were returning home, I said he should hand me the key to the house and my feeding allowance, but he said no. He explained that he had no money for our feeding. Then he started to abuse me. I told him I was going home, and that he should not bother about the money again. That was how he punched me in the face and attacked me while we were still on the road. I left him and went to look for a hammer, which I used to break the door. That night, when he came in, I was still angry. I got a knife which I used to stab him. I didn’t intend to kill him. I was just annoyed over what happened in the afternoon.”she said

Neighbors immediately alerted the policemen at the Layeni division and she was arrested.

A police source who spoke on condition of anonymity said the couple met at a night club

"The couple met each other at a night club in 2013 and had been dating since then. They were not legally married. They went out on Thursday and probably got drunk in the process. When they returned, there was an argument and a fight began. The suspect ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. She stabbed her lover in the right side of the neck, and he was rushed to a hospital, where he died.”

The Lagos state Police Spokesperson, Kenneth Nwosu also confirmed the incident and said further investigation into it is ongoing.

Wike pays Patience Jonathan N199m monthly to gain political favor, Gov Amaechi alleges

Gov. Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state has alleged that the Rivers state PDP Governorship aspirant, Nyesom Wike, who is backed by first Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, has been paying her a monthly allowance of $1million just to gain favor from her. Governor Amaechi made the allegation while speaking at a praise and worship session organised by the Ikwerre Youth Movement and Ikwerre Women Forum at Isiokpo, headquarters of the Ikwerre LoGA of the state on Saturday Match 21st.

"Do you know that the PDP governorship candidate, Nyesom Wike, has been giving one million dollars monthly to the wife of the President, Mrs Patience Jonathan? He has been doing this to gain political favour in the Presidency and to retain the favour” he said

But in a swift reaction, the spokesperson to Mr Wike, Simeon Nwakudu, said Governor Amaechi’s allegation is false and accused him of using Rivers state money to fund APC presidential candidate Gen Muhammadu Buhari.

“Our attention has been drawn to another desperate press statement issued by outgoing Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, where he falsely accused the Rivers PDP governorship candidate,   Nyesom Wike, of paying the First Lady, Patience Jonathan, one million US Dollars monthly. This allegation is completely false and simply aimed at diverting the attention of the public from the monumental corruption under Amaechi’s leadership. Wike has always been an upright administrator and politician, who is committed to the development of Rivers State and Nigeria. Wike has published documents of mass corruption in Government House, Port House, and the entire Rivers State Government under the guidance of Amaechi. The outgoing governor should respond to these documentary proofs of corruption, rather than cooking up false allegations to distract attention. Amaechi has wasted over N3tn that have accrued to Rivers State, a large percentage of the funds being expended on the sponsorship of APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, and the APC.”

One soldier dies, 7 injured after troop foil Boko Haram attack on Bama

Defence Headquarters this evening released a statement on how they foiled another Boko Haram attack on Bama, Borno state March 21st. Sadly one soldier died while 7 others got injured during the attack. They have been evacuated from the combat area by air and are already receiving medical attention. Many of the terrorists were killed.

A Hilux vehicle, other terrorist equipments and some weapons were captured from the attackers. Pursuit is still ongoing while calm has been restored and troops maintain firm control of Bama town.


With most of the towns slated to be cleared of terrorists already covered, the campaign to rid the rest of the communities of these militants is continuing with air and land operations now stepped up in the remaining designated locations in the mission area. Cordon and search of cleared communities are also ongoing with some discoveries of weapons and vestiges of atrocities committed by the terrorists while they held sway in some locations

A  popular Mexican wrestling star named El Hijo Del Perro Aguayo, 35, was killed during a live show in Tijuana last night March 20th when a fighting stunt went terribly wrong in the center of the ring, TMZ reports. Aguayo was taking on former WWE star Rey Mysterio Jr. when he was performing a stunt and apparently snapped his neck or spine.

The wrestlers didn't seem to realize the extent of the injury at first - but soon realized something was wrong. Once everyone realized how serious it was - Aguayo (above) was put on a stretcher and rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Some Nigerians in Pretoria, South Africa, contacted us about the killing of a Nigerian night club owner popularly known as Ibu Adazi from Anambra state. They said he was shot dead on Tuesday March 17th by some bad boys popularly known as Umu Ita (they are a mix of Zimbabweans, Angolans, South Africans and Nigerians and are also drug addicts) as he was about to leave his club with a huge amount of money brought to him earlier in the day.
