President, Barack Obama has condemned the killing of 48 students and 3 teachers in Yobe bomb explosion which occurred on Monday, November 10.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson Jen Psaki, The President Said:
“We condemn in the strongest terms the horrific attack on Nigerian students by a suicide bomber in the northeastern Nigerian town of Potiskum, as well as other attacks on defenceless civilians this past week in Nigeria.”
“We urge the government of Nigeria to investigate these and other attacks to bring the perpetrators to justice.”

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki-moon also reacted to the blast urging the Nigerian government to get to the bottom of the disaster while stating that “no objective justifies wanton violence against civilians.”
The Monday explosion occurred at the Government Science Secondary School in Potiskum, Yobe State.
