Welcome StreetDreamers, this is an official interview and might be published, so are you ready?

Yea, we ready

Tell us, we hear you are upcoming superstars in the Nigeria Music industry, currently storming the city of Port Harcourt.

Jackydon:  Of course that’s so true. We are a group of upcoming and talented artistes base in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and we're known for creative delivery of lyrics.. Our names are "Jackydon, Slim M and JonDee.

Ok, So what are you up to now?

Slim M:  We come out with many things, and one of which  is to entertain people here in Nigeria and  outside the country and  also to let people know that good music still exist here in Nigeria, that’s why you see us come out with difference tunes, such you hardly hear from other artistes.

Jackydon: Yes Slim M is right! Currently, we are promoting our new single titled "Shake_somtin", which currently on air play.

What was your first song?

Jackydon: "This matter" was our first song.

Slim M:  Yea! That’s right, the song was first performed on 1st October 2010 and many fans liked our performance and invited us to more shows

That’s great! Tell us more about your love for music

Jackydon: We started doing music along time back. We expect to go an extra mile in music. In future we plan to have our own Studio and Record Label. In music we have No Limit because Music is our Life.

As up and coming artistes, How is the music industry treating you?

Slim M:  You know the music industry today is all about competition, artistes are struggling to go into the industry and stand as a popular artist, so ours is not different, but the only thing about us is that our performances is always outstanding in any show we attend, so with that feature, we're always well recognized in any music concert we perform, and for that  I don’t think is gonna take us long to be a household name  in the  industry.. Yea! I believe in a lil while you gonna be seeing us up in the sky shining like super stars  *smiles*

What inspired you into joining music?

Jondee  Our great Talent & love for music is what inspired us.

You guys are a group. Who is your leader?

Slim M:  Jackydon make most of our movements and represent us officially, we consider him as the leader

Jackydon: (laughs) Don’t mind Slim M. Here’s strictly Music, so no politics. StreetDreamers crew has no leader, besides music leads us everywhere. The three of us carry equal responsibilities.

Who do you guys take to be your best music Group and why?

Jackydon:  Yes these guys, em..em "The New Waves" ( a.k.a Dready Boys) back in the days, early 90s. I practically grew up with their songs, and it throws back a lot of memories. I remember vividly back in the days, every young guy in my community had a radio cassette player. Anybody without one was usually looked at as a real loser. When you go visit friends, this was the only album you hear. I believe their debut album was "Yardtick" with hit tracks like: 1.Yard Stick 2.Dready boys 3.Take it easy 4.Still on the move 5.Reggae is the king 6.Pass the nation boys 7.Apartheid world 8.Waiting for the time  9.About yah. Theseguys were extra talented and original.

What don’t you like about the Nigeria music industry?

Jondee: Discrimination and disrespect from so self claimed Big Artists.,, Radio and TV presenters. The DJs are not helping, they charge money to play songs by upcoming artistes.

What is your biggest achievement and best moment in music so far?

Jackydon: People love our Music. Everywhere we go, we get a warm welcome.

The song "Shake somtin" is becoming so popular, what is the secret?

Jackydon: Our Producer Willy Jay (@Nineplus_Record) gave his best while creating the beat, and DonakTV/NancyPromotions made the song more popular with maximum promotion. The song was featured in all their mixed tapes and also played by their professional DJs at shows/events in Port Harcourt. We thank God.

Jondee: its beaming on us the much anticipated turning point in our career and we are grateful to God and everyone involved in making this dreams come true

According to fans outside Nigeria, the song "Against All Odds" is said to be an inspirational song that reverberates in One's heart like sweet melody. What inspired you guys to write the song?

Jackydon: Against all odds is a reality song from our love lives, my girlfriend inspired my lines. (laughs)

And you broke up with her after that, or was it just rumor?

Jackydon: I don’t wanna talk about my love life.

Any words to your fans out there?

Jondee: For the support of our fans, we are always humbled. We promise more music all the time. We shall not disappoint those that have been with us from day one.

Well, thanks so much StreetDreamers for your time. It’s been our pleasure. Do you have anything more you would want someone to know about you?
