Erica Garner, the daughter of Eric Garner, a black man who was killed in a chokehold by a NYPD officer in 2014, is slamming Hillary Clinton’s campaign Thursday, over leaked emails from the server of John Podesta, the Democratic campaign chairman, which revealed email conversations about using her father's death to protest gun violence. 9 persons have been confirmed dead with 24 others injured in the twin bomb blast which happened at the entrance of the Bakassi IDPs and NNPC station in Maiduguri, Borno state.

At least 9 people were killed this morning in Maiduguri after a Boko Haram suicide bomber tried to enter the Bakassi IDP camp in Maiduguri around 7am and another suicide bomber tried to enter the NNPC depot on Damboa road in a tricyle just 30 minutes later, according to eye-witnesses. 9 people were killed and many others injured.

Sani Datta, spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency said many of the injured have been taken to the hospital.

It’s not great at Man City at the moment.

While Pep Guardiola’s side remain top of the Premier League, the Sky Blues have now gone six matches without a win.

On Wednesday night, in the EFL Cup, City lost 1-0 away at Man United courtesy of a second half winner from Juan Mata.

After the match, pictures leaked out of the Threate of Dreams revealing how a group of visiting supporters trashed the toilets at Man United’s ground.

According to reports, Man City fans completely destroyed a toilet at Old Trafford after the defeat.

Indeed, one photo seemed to show one man kicking away at the United facilities.
The images sparked memories of what happened in the Old Firm match back in September, when Rangers fans completely destroyed the toilets at Celtic after their match in the Scottish Premier League.

Will Man City be fined for the damage? We have to wait and see.

$2.2bn fraud: Jonathan should be arrested for his statement – Lagos APC

 

The All Progressives Congress Lagos State Chapter has said anti-graft agencies should arrest former President Goodluck Jonathan for his statement about ex-NSA Sambo Dasuki not stealing $2.2bn.

In a statement by its publicity secretary, Joe Igbokwe on Thursday, the party said the statement proved he knew about the shady deals during his administration.

“To claim that Dasuki and his partners did not steal the arms purchase fund reveals the inner beliefs of Jonathan and explains that he is intrinsically webbed to corruption,” Igbokwe said.

“Even while he is perceived as pathologically corrupt and his regime seen as the most corrupt in Nigeria’s chequered history, one would have expected Jonathan to be cautious in seeking to advance very childish and inadmissible exculpation of his subordinates for glaring acts of corruption.
