Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has concluded plans to inaugurate the
Ekiti Grazing Enforcement Marshalls (EGEM) against Fulani herdsmen
flouting the grazing rules and fomenting trouble in the South-western
state.

An army of able-bodied men has been gathered and trained by the
People's Democratic Party chieftain, Ayodele Peter Fayose to monitor and
curtail the nefarious activities of Fulani herdsmen in the state.
The law enforcement body named 'Ekiti Grazing Enforcement
Marshalls' is scheduled for inauguration on the 20th of October, 2016
at the government house in Ado Ekiti - 10am prompt.
The Ekiti Grazing Enforcement Marshalls will be tasked with the
sole responsibility of ensuring the compliance of the herdsmen with the
grazing law as well as the arrest of offenders for prosecution by the
state.
Vehicles and other facilities have been provided by the Governor to
empower the militia to carry out their operations efficiently and
effectively.
