At
the plenary session on Tuesday at the National Assembly in Abuja, the
Senate rejected the 46 non-career ambassadorial nominees sent to it by
President Buhari for approval.

According to a report by Punch newspaper, the members of Nigerian
Senate has rejected the 46 non-career ambassadorial nominees sent to it
by President Muhammadu Buhari for legislative approval, saying that the
list will be sent back to the president “for resubmission and re-jigging.”
