#BringBackOurGirls: Chibok Girls Might Be Released October 20!

According to reports, 218 Chibok girls who were abducted by Boko Haram six months ago might be released on Monday, October 20.
This comes as a result of successful talks between the sect and the Nigerian government which led both parties to agree to the release of the girls and also to a ceasefire between Nigeria’s troops and the terrorists.
News of the ceasefire was announced by the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh and confirmed by the Defence Headquarters.
The Chibok girls were kidnapped on April 14 and their abduction sparked outrage all over the world and led to the creation of the hashtag, #BringBackOurGirls.
The 6 month anniversary of their abduction was marked with protests by the #BringBackOurGirls group at the Presidential Villa in Abuja and by singer, Alicia Keys at the Nigerian Embassy in New York.
