Influential politician and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Dino Melaye, has filed an official petition against Sahara Reporters to the Inspector General of Police, IGP.

The outspoken Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye who on Thursday, 23 March, filed a N5 billion libel suit against an online media platform, Sahara Reporters over a certificate scandal, has taken the media war to another level after he posted his official petition against the outfit to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) on social media.
He captioned a copy of the petition; "Sowore Will go to jail I promise," he wrote. " Sowore door closed', he added.
