Seun Oni popularly known as Saeon,
signed on to Baseline Records has said people need not worry over her video
which many have seen as sexy.
The video of her dance
track: ’Boogie Down’ featuring Wizkid has become one
of the most played videos gracing the airways .In a chat with Weekend Groove
she opens up on the video concept and why she featured Wizkid.
“My video is sexy but tastefully
done, there hasn’t been any undue exposure of any sort. I would like to commend
the NBC for their effort in trying to bring stability into the
industry, however the video is a burlesque video; a 1920/1930’s
mixed with modern day realities. The video was tastefully done, I
don’t considered it as too sexy.
However it is a burlesque video so
you would definitely expect that there would be burlesque outfits, concepts and
yes, I expect everyone to have fun while watching the video because it is an
amazing video” she said
She also commends Wizkid :’ In
the short time that I have known Wizkid I have seen that he is an amazing and
talented artiste but what really makes me appreciate him more is the fact that
he has amazing work ethics despite his busy schedule he is able to deliver time
and time again. And the reason for collaboration with him is to tap
into the positives of each other”.
